GM Collage 2015Each month, September through June, INC organizes gatherings for our membership. We strive to take you to unique places that perhaps you didn’t know about or wouldn’t have access to on your own. Or maybe we’re just taking you somewhere you’d prefer to visit with a group. Either way we try to introduce INC members to the cultural life here in Madrid.

Next Event: General Meeting – March: Post & Telegraph Museum

This General Meeting offers you a thematic and chronological tour through the evolution of communication media, their workings and the transportation system.

History of philately, stamp collections of great historical value from Spain and the rest of the world from the end of the 18th century onwards.
It also explores the world of telegraphy and telephony, with curious items and uniforms from the XIX century.
The museum has a specialist library with valuable original documents, signed  by important figures, as well as hieroglyphic letters.
There are also cartography and photography archives . All this in 5 exhibition floors.
After that,there will be a vino español.

When: Tuesday, 26th of March: starting at 11.00 am until 13.30 aprox.

Transport: public transport: you go to the Intercambiador de Moncloa, in Isla 3, dársena

roundabout, first exit:
Avenida de Valdemarín. At the next roundabout, take a left and you
are in Calle Tapia de Casariego, where the Museum is.

Coming from Carretera de Castilla, you go under the A6 until the
roundabout, you take the second exit. Once you arrive at the next
roundabout,you turn left into calle Tapia de Casariego, where the
Museum is.
