One Sunday recently we decided to have brunch at The Intercontinental Hotel. We’re very glad we did – what more could one want on a chilly Sunday than oodles of Champagne and delicious food?
The buffet was fantastic and included seafood, pasta, salads and roast meats. There were numerous tasty dessert items and the chocolate fountain with fruit was a fabulous way to finish. All the while our drinks were topped up and we were entertained by a pianist, playing relaxing and unobtrusive background music.
There was also something for the kids. The staff had set up a table where children, under the supervision of a chef could try their hand at making a variety of tasty treats.
Brunch starts at 1:30 and continues through until 4:30. It’s a good idea to make a reservation. Cost is 69 Euro per person and includes a full buffet brunch, champagne, wine, coffee and soft drink.
