Discovering La Jarosa and the Silverwood

This month, we will discover the Sierra de Guadarrama, north of Madrid together with Brigitte. Starting at the reservoir, the smallest one in this area, but known for its beauty.
Our walk will start bordering the reservoir and then entering the Silverwood, following the course of the stream. On our way, we’ ll find oaks and black pines, known as the Silver forest for the color of the bark of these pine trees, being over 500 years old.
