This café-restaurant, located at the Círculo de Bellas Artes, is one of the most famous places in Madrid, combining the classical style of the majestic building by Antonio Palacios (architect of other iconic buildings like Palacio de Cibeles, currently the seat of the city council) with the constant movement of Alcalá Street, one of the busiest streets in Madrid.
The historic café is called “La Pecera”, or aquarium, for the height of its windows opening onto Calle Alcalá.
Menu del Dia 16.50E plus a discretionary tip (Starter, main, dessert or coffee/infusion, includes one drink)
La Pecera de Bellas Artes: C. de Alcalá, 42, 28028 Madrid
