Madrid Rio Park-city walk Madrid River Park stretches along Rio Manzanares which originates from the Guadarrama mountain range.
The park was inaugurated in 2011 and serves as an environmental corridor connecting new parts of Madrid as the city is expanding. We will learn more about the area, while we enjoy a walk along the river crossing the banks on one or two of the bridges that are connecting the two river banks.
On the walk we will enjoy the greenery, Madrid beach, the bridges and also the Palacio de Cristal Arganzuela.
We will meet at Matadero, which can easily be reached by public transport. Good walking shoes, sunscreen and a water bottle is recommended.
