Mountain hike to kick off 2023

We are kick starting the hiking season with INC in La Jarosa where we will aim to reach the Ermita Altar Mayor.
On a clear the we will have with great views over the valley of the fallen heroes and Madrid. The walk will initially take us along one of the big water reservoirs for Madrid after which we will walk, with an incline, through the forest until we reach the stairs to walk up to the altar. Along the route we will stop for a picnic so please bring some food and beverages along to enjoy.
Dogs are welcome to come along but will need to be on a leash at all times. Please wear warm comfortable layered clothes and waterproof shoes as it may be humid this time of the year.
