Amazonia by Sebastião Salgado is one of the great exhibitions of the year.
Over 1,4 million people have seen this exhibition in París, Aviñón, Rome, London, Manchester, Los Ángeles, São Paulo, Río de Janeiro, Milán and Zurich.
It now comes to Madrid, and INC invites you to experience it! Sebastião Salgado is a socio-documentary photographer and photojournalist born in Aimorés (Brazil) in 1944, who has specialised in immortalising the forests and different ecosystems all over the world.
Amazonia is an unprecedented multisensory experience resulting from seven years of immersion in the Amazon rainforest, combining large-format photographs and films with a unique soundtrack and authentic sounds of the Amazon especially created by the musician Jean-Michel Jarre.
For all of this, he was awarded the W. Eugene Smith Award for Humanitarian Photography in 1982, the Hasselblad Foundation International Award in 1989. In the mood for more adventure after our Amazonia exhibition or just in the mood to pop by for a coffee? Come join us in Papua, the jungle in the heart of Madrid! A tropical space, for some friendly exotic banter amongst our international members! Approximately at 12.15.
