Museum Forum: Museum of the Americas

Join us on a special guided tour of the Museum of the Americas in Moncloa - an institution dedicated to the preservation, research, and dissemination of the heritage of the American continent and the peoples who have historically inhabited it. Their collections are extensive and diverse: pre-Hispanic archaeological objects, works of art from the viceregal period, and a large ethnographic display of American cultures from the 19th and 20th centuries.

The tour will be in Spanish first with one of the museum's volunteer guides, however one of our members will translate into English.   It is expected to last around 1 hour.

After the tour, for those who would like, we will be going to lunch at a nearby restaurant.

The tour is provided free of charge, following payment of entry:

General admission = €3 per person - to be paid by each member at the museum. Please bring exact cash!

People over 65 and those with disabilities are free.
